New Swimsuit!

Madeleine got a new swimsuit and loves to dance around it!

Swing!

We bought a new swing at the neighborhood garage sales and Braden loves it! For some reason he likes to swing side to side instead of back & forth...go figure!

Tummy Time!

Braden is getting stronger and stronger every day! He actually likes tummy time and would rather do that then sit in his bouncy seat.

At the moment, we are trying to get Braden on more of a "routine" but it doesn't seem to be working. I guess he has his own routine but we are trying to tweak it to fit our schedule better :-) He sleeps through the night most nights and then just catnaps during the day. No complaints from getting lots of sleep but it would be nice if he would take a longer nap during the day so I could get a break since Ms Madeleine doesn't nap either. We are a very busy bunch over here!

Grandma comes for a visit!

Jeff was gone over the weekend so my parents came up to help me with the kids. Madeleine was so excited to have Grandma spend the night! My mom had a slumber party with Madeleine and slept on her trundle bed...and so did Madeleine! Instead of sleeping on her own bed, she crawled into bed with my mom and they slept together on a twin bed the whole night. So cute!

Braden 12 - weeks!

Braden is 12-weeks old this coming Friday! Here are some pictures of the many faces of Braden!

Sports Sampler!

Madeleine is finishing up her 9-week sports sampler class at the local community center. She has played soccer, t-ball and now ending the class with basketball. When asked which sports she liked best, she said "swimming". I guess we won't be doing another sports sampler for awhile...it's back to the pool for us! She had fun running around with all the kids though and I had fun watching her try and play all these different sports!

Tea Party!!!

Madeleine was invited to a Spring Tea Party at her friend Sadye's house. The party was so much fun and Sarah, Sadye's mom, did a fantastic job with everything from decorations, food, crafts to a goodie box - wow!!! Madeleine loved every minute of it!

How Sarah found time to put this together and decorate with a toddler and 10-week old is beyond me! Everything was so cute!

There was even a craft to do - making flowers with buttons. So fun!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! We spent Mother's Day with my family at Anthony's for brunch! It was great to see the whole family. All the kids did very well at brunch and we enjoyed catching up with everyone!

Braden is getting so big! He did very well at brunch, just kind of hung-out and then fell asleep.

Braden's 2-month check-up

Our big boy is already 2-months old! We had his check-up today and he looks healthy. Here are his stats: 96% for weight, 73% for length, 54% for head circumference. He has really grown!

Braden is smiling now and getting ready to coo. I can't wait to hear him make some sounds! He is such a cutie pie, especially when he smiles at us! He likes to eat, sleep, sit in his bouncy chair and is starting to like the swing too. He is a good sleeper, making mommy or daddy only get up once per night! We love him!

Hooray for Big Sissy!

Madeleine has been such a great big sister these last few weeks. It's been just the three of us for the past two weeks and I have been really impressed on how well Madeleine transitioned. Now, don't get me wrong, we aren't without a few tantrums but all in all, she has been acting really good! We decided to reward her with a fun day out which started with a picnic, then playing at the playground, then off to Build-A-Bear (1st time) and finally, a haircut!

Madeleine loves to dress-up and her latest obsession is wearing her Snow White dress over pj's. Gotta love the creativity!

More Easter

We celebrated Easter at my brothers house this year! Stephen & Sharyn put on a little Easter Egg Hunt for the girls and got lots of money and candy! Madeleine ate a starburst candy for her 1st time and her reaction was priceless! She couldn't believe the delicious taste of the candy :-)
