Days of the Week, Planets & More

Braden is getting so big! He is almost 11-months old. He loves to cruise around the living room and has even stood on his own for a split second...I think he'll be walking in next couple of months, watch out! He really likes to make all kinds of baby sounds and thinks it is hillarious when you talk back to him making the same sounds :) We just introduced the ball machine to him which he seems to like. He likes anything that makes a lot of noise and moves!

Madeleine is still loving her preschool! She is learning a lot of new concepts there and really getting into writing all the letters. We've had a lot of practice writing this month with the multiple birthday cards we've made for friends. Below are a few videos of her singing her planet song and the days of the week song!

Braden's 1st Snow

We finally took Braden out to see the snow today after I remembered our neighbor's gave us a little snowsuit...turned out to be a bit small but what the heck, we put it on him and headed outside! He wasn't impressed, he was maybe out there for 5 minutes tops. Jeff & Braden headed inside while Madeleine and I did some more sledding. Another fun day in the snow!

The snow keeps on falling! We've gone sledding and Madeleine made a snowman with Jeff. Braden is enjoying the snow from the warmth of the couch.

We met friends at the park yesterday to sled, so fun!



We woke up to a lot of snow and more snow falling! It's going to be a ton of fun sledding today!

It's never to early to learn how to cook! Braden is enjoying our new kitchen from our neighbor's. We actually gave our old kitchen away, it was just too big but this kitchen is small and fits perfectly downstairs near our kitchen.

Happy 4th Birthday Madeleine!

Happy 4th Birthday to Madeleine! We threw Madeleine a gymnastics birthday party this year with some friends from the neighborhood and preschool. She had a blast jumping and tumbling with friends. After the gymnastics class, the kids sat down to eat a Dora Ice-Cream Cake (chocolate cake with strawberry ice-cream, her creation)! She received some really neat, creative gifts that she is having so much fun playing with!

Sunday we we were busy getting ready for Madeleine to be first mate at preschool on her actual 4th birthday! We made chocolate covered pretzels for her birthday snack.

I did the dipping and Madeleine did the sprinkling ;-)

Monday morning we woke up and opened up the presents from us. Daddy surprised her and got her a kite! She also received some games and Braden gave her fancy tape!

Every year on her birthday we measure her, she is getting so big!

Madeleine received a build-a-bear gift card for her birthday so we went and got her a new bear. She picked the cupcake bear and named her "Cupcake Sprinkles". Then she got a scoop of pink bubblegum ice-cream!

10-months old!

Braden is 10-months old! He is crawling, pulling up, cruising a bit, making lots of baby sounds & has 9 teeth! He likes to get into everything he's not supposed to and is a busy little guy. :-) Why play with my toys when I can dump the garbage can over or eat paper?

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We spent another year with the Hallali family and had lots of fun! Madeleine ran around with all the kids and Braden somehow slept through constant screaming and the kids blowing New Years horns! We celebrated by counting down at 9pm and were home by 11. Jeff & tried to make it to midnight but we both fell asleep before. Happy New Year!

Christmas Morning!

Santa brought lots of gifts for the kiddos, what a fun morning! Madeleine was very excited to see that Santa brought her a trampoline that made all kinds of music!

Last year I picked up these fun pancake molds with Mindee the day after Christmas and we used them Christmas morning - so cute!

Braden is loving his new tractor! He claps when it makes noise!

Madeleine is into a book series called Ladybug Girl and received lots of ladybug stuff from her aunties ~ thank you!
