1st Campfire of the season

We seem to always have our first campfire every Memorial Day Weekend...and as tradition goes, we lit one tonight! Braden had his 1st s'more! Yum!

Swamp Monster Trail

We met Katy, JD & Carsen for a morning hike. It was such a fun hike for the kids with story boards along the way. Everyone enjoyed getting outside!

Mr Busy Bee

Braden took his first busy bee class this week! He had a lot of fun singing, dancing, running and playing. He had a hard time seeing sissy sitting on the sidelines though...he kept running over to her and saying "I want sissy". Madeleine was such a good sport though :) She sat quietly and colored while we took our class. We had fun!

Trip to West Seattle

Jeff & I decided to take the kids on a little adventure over to West Seattle on Friday night. We took the little passenger ferry over from downtown! The kids loved it! Braden kept saying "I want to go on the boat"!

What was suppose to be a quick trip over turned out to be a very late night. After getting off the boat, we missed the shuttle down to the restaurants and had to walk 2 miles down to them
. Luckily we had our stroller with us and put both kids in it (never knew our little stroller could be a double - LOL!). After dinner, we discovered that the shuttle back to the boat stopped running after 7:00 so....we had to walk all the way back again! We definitely earned the drinks and pizza we had! Luckily there was lots of beautiful scenery and people watching to keep the kids entertained on the walk. A long but fun night!

Mother's Day Tea

Yesterday was the Mother's Day Tea at Madeleine's preschool. The school does such a nice job getting the kids ready to appreciate mom :) The kids sang three songs, showed us how to dance and served us lemonade and a cupcake. What a special afternoon with my favorite little girl!

All Comers Track Meet

Madeleine participated in her 1st FUN track meet this weekend! Jeff was out of town so I actually didn't get to go but our friends took her so she could participate. She had the best time! She competed in five events and loved running the most. She said she can't wait to try again! She even told me she got last place in the run but tried her best and still had fun - way to go Madeleine!

Turbo Javelin

Celebrating Cinco de Mayo

My family came up to go out with us to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Ana's. They have some yummy margarita's and food! We had our favorite babysitter watch the kids so we could go out. Madeleine & Braden enjoyed having cousin Kathryn over to play! We all enjoyed our evening!!!

Cinco de Mayo 8k

I met up with Mindee & Natasha for the Cinco de Mayo 8k! It was a beautiful day for the run in Snoqualmie! It was a completely flat course which is hard to do up here - I loved it! We ran by the river and could see the mountains on the run, so pretty! Great job gals!

Jeff & the kids met me at the finish. Madeleine even ran with me to the finish!

Water Table

Braden is in heaven with the water table! He could play outside all day & night!

Fox Hollow Farms

We met Kristine, Lexie & Molly at Fox Hollow Farms in Issaquah for some fun on the farm! Braden went on his 1st pony ride! We saw lots of baby animals, rode a train and ended the day in the bouncy house after seeing all the farm animals - so fun!!!

Play House!

We were so lucky to have our good friends the Hallali's pass down this play house to us! Jeff is outside right now putting the remaining shingles on and it will be 100% ready to go. The kids love to play in it! We brought our little play kitchen from inside out to it along with a few others essential play house items!

Madeleine stole my phone and shot about a million pictures! Here a FEW that were not of feet or concrete or a fence...
