Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 29! Jeff took me to the Michael Buble concert at McCall Hall. It was SO much fun! The singing was amazing, the show was amazing. Both he and the opener (Jann Arden) were very funny. It was a great night! Again, we are in the middle of moving so I didn't take any pictures of my own...still can't locate my camera. Moving Day

Yesterday was our official move-day. We started at 6 am and hit the sack at midnight. I don't have any pictures because I don't know where my camera is. It is in some box...somewhere...in the garage.

Our first night's sleep, although short, was very peaceful! No more living on a busy street - hooray!

Melissa's Wedding

Melissa & Joe's wedding was beautiful! The ceremony was my favorite part! It included a slideshow, the organ playing and two beautiful singers. They had amazing voices! But most of all, Melissa and Joe were so happy! Everyone could tell that this day meant a lot to both of them.

Jeff and I (and Madeleine) at the reception! We had so much fun talking to everyone and dancing! The music was great! We danced and danced and danced. Madeleine is kicking and kicking more everyday! I could really feel her moving at the ceremony when the organ was playing. She really likes music!

Madeleine at 18 1/2 weeks

I am 20 weeks along today - 1/2 way there! I can't believe it! We have beens so busy with weddings and our house that I haven't had a chance to upload the latest pictures of Madeleine. Here she is at 18 1/2 weeks


Our house is all done too! We closed yesterday and got our "gold key" - we really did get a working gold key for the house along with regular keys. It was so cool! Quadrant also gave us really nice towels and a gift card to Macy's as a thank you...I can't wait to go spend it!

We moved a few things in but are not officially moving until the 29th because I am in a wedding this weekend and some of our appliances are not being delivered until next week. Can't wait!

Finished!

We're all finished! Signed our papers today and we close on Tuesday!!! The house looks great and we can't wait to leave our small one bedroom. I will miss West Seattle but am looking forward to our new community.

Melissa and Joe invited the bridesmaids out sailing! It was a beautiful evening and the perfect end to a perfect day! This is the boat they are taking on their honeymoon!!!

It's A Girl!

We found out that the baby is a GIRL!!! We are so, so excited! It was one of the best days of my life. Most importantly, we found out the baby is healthy! We started our day at our favorite bakery, then off to the doctor which was much anticipated, and then out shopping for baby girl stuff. We bought baby girl scrapbooking paper and the cutest pink dress.

We have known our baby names for a long time, probably as long as Jeff and I have known each other. So Madeleine Rose it is! Today we bought an adorable pink dress with roses on it and the dress is appropriately named "Rosebud"!

Thank you to everyone for thinking of us today, we really appreciate all the phone calls, e-mails, and text messages. We feel blessed to be surrounded by such supportive people.

Day 43

Quadrant is on day 43 of our house. Since we can't get in and the pictures look terrible through the window, I decided not to post any this round. We can only see in the bottom windows of course so the latest additions that we can see are: counter tops are in and the granite around the fireplace is installed! Looks great...I just wish we could get inside!

We walked all around our neighborhood this weekend! 20+ miles of trails just in our neighborhood so it is going to be fun to explore!

Here I am at 17 1/2 weeks :-)

Boy or Girl?

We'll hopefully find out next Friday! But I have had three dreams that the baby is a boy so I am calling it! Jeff thinks the baby will be a girl and I guess we both have a 50/50 chance! Stay tuned...
