The Fowler family ~ Jeff, Angela, Madeleine, and Braden! We love to update the blog so check back often to watch our family grow!
Jenni and I were pregnant at the same time but just got around to introducing the girls today! It was so much fun to catch up with Jenni, to see Will's mohawk (he's going to be a heart breaker), and to meet sweet little Leila. Leila is a really good baby! She eats and sleeps and eats and sleeps...exactly what a baby should do!Madeleine all wrapped up
When one baby cries....
The other one cries!
Here's Will giving Madeleine a big 'ole kiss! Future boyfriend???
My friend Kristy just told me that the apartment building that Jeff & I moved from in West Seattle was set on fire last week! Not really a close call but since I lived there for over 3 years, I feel a bit sad. The fire was started downstairs at the locksmith's place of business and we lived above and behind that. Scary! I found more info. on the Seattle PI website.
Madeleine has really started to talk in the last couple of days! It is so much fun to watch and hear!
My mom and I took Madeleine to see the Easter Bunny today at Southcenter mall! She did so well but of course didn't really know what the heck was going on. I will post the actual pictures of her with the Easter bunny when I can scan them.
My aunt & uncle from Illinois gave Madeleine the pretty little pink dress she is wearing! I am going to have her wear it tomorrow when we go to the Easter Egg hunt and on Easter as well....it is just too pretty to only wear once!
Amy & Tiffany came over with their babies today for a playdate! Tiffany drove all the way down from B'ham with her little girl Taylor who is 4 months old. Odin is just about 6 months old and Madeleine is going on 3 months! Here are a few pictures from the day.
My manager (or I guess my old manager as of today) stopped by today and brought Madeleine this hat! It is too big for her but I put it on her anyways and took a few photos. I love the hat and can't wait until it fits.
I just bought this hat, washed it...and it is already to small for Madeleine! That little brain must be growing because she has got a big head! She didn't appreciate me putting this hat on her at all! Happy St. Patty's Day!!!
We celebrated Dave's Birthday with him over the weekend! Dave is a long time friend of Jeff's and was the best man in our wedding. Dave's parents had us over for dinner and it was delicious! The cake Staci made was even better! Madeleine enjoyed meeting everyone and we had fun catching up with the Gierok crew. Here is a pic of us with Dave & Staci and all of our kids!
Hooray! Andrea's pregnant! It was confirmed today and we are looking at a November 10th due date but Jeff & I have our money on November 12th - our wedding anniversary. Here we are on Saturday night after she told me the good news!
Madeleine had her 2 month check-up today and she is weighing in at 12lb, 12 oz and is in the 80th percentile for her length. I think she takes after Jeff's side of the family and is going to be a tall girl! She is finally getting over her cold and is feeling better. I even took her to her 1st girls luncheon with me over at my friend Mindy's house. We had a lot of fun until she decided to spit up all over my dry clean only sweater. I should know better by now that I shouldn't wear dry clean only garments with a new baby! I guess after wearing the same maternity clothes over and over for 9 months has made me desperate to want to look cute and trendy again. So if that means a few extra trips to the dry cleaner, so be it. At least I feel good, right?!Here is a picture of Madeleine with our luncheon host, Mindy!
Madeleine LOVES her daddy! But how can you not love someone you look EXACTLY like? I always tell her that she and Jeff are twins! Our neighbors gave us a gift card to Carter's so Madeleine and I went on a mini shopping spree...not that this child needs anymore clothes! I am getting a tad bit tired of all the pink so we opted for some outfits in purple. Here is Madeleine in her "daddy's little princess" outfit.
The backyard is done except for getting the fence up and planting some flowers! Check it out!
The overall yard...
The raised vegetable garden...Jeff's playground!
The firepit!

Pathway to the front...
We're moving right along with our backyard! It should be all done tomorrow! Today they put down the grass, planted some different trees & plants, and assembled the raised vegetable garden beds. Behind that there will be a fire pit and they are finishing up that tomorrow!
Madeleine's caught her 1st cold so we are laying low the rest of the week. Poor thing! She sounds so stuffed up :-(Jeff's dad & step mama left today so that is the end of our visitors. It has been a whirlwind of family in town and it feels weird not to have visitors to look forward to. We had fun with everyone here though and have already made tentative plans to visit Texas for Thanksgiving!
Spring is almost here and we are finally getting our backyard in! We are so excited for the sunny days ahead and to be able to enjoy them outside!! Jeff designed the backyard so it will be really fun to see how it all turns out. It should be done this week or early next so stay tuned.
Suzette & Ron brought Madeleine her 1st pair of cowboy boots straight from Texas! She'll be stomping her feet and doing the two step in no time. They even have roses on the side for "Madeleine Rose"!
