Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! We are a busy bunch over here preparing for Madeleine's party at school. We got everything done and had a good start to the morning with a few little presents and some heart shaped toast (that's as creative as I get this year!). 

Jeff was super sweet and brought me home a dozen roses and a DQ blizzard :) We'll be spending the evening at the pool for swimming lessons...nothing says romance more than that - ha! Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Off to kindergarten?

I can't believe it's already time to sign Madeleine up for kindergarten! We're picking up her packet today and just yesterday I sent in Braden's paperwork for a toddler class! Next year will be so different with Madeleine off to school each day. I am really, really looking forward to doing the class with Braden! It is the same class I did with Madeleine and I know we are both going to love it! 

Wiggle Works

We met up with some friends at a new indoor playground called Wiggle Works. The kids had a blast playing and I had fun catching up with old friends!

Rock-a-bye Baby

Braden loves to be rocked to sleep every so often. He's getting so big that he barely fits anymore! Sometimes he points to his crib and says "bed, bed" because he just isn't comfortable anymore. I love to watch him fall asleep in my arms when he does :)

Paint Pens

Braden loves to use our paint pens! It is so much easier for him than coloring. We just got these out the other day and he can't get enough of them. I think we have had these paint pens for a couple years...they never run out! Best art purchase yet!

Swimming with Grandpa!

My dad took Braden swimming for me since I had a minor little surgery on my arm and can't go into the pool right now. Jeff was unable to make it so my dad came up to help. Braden loved swimming around with Grandpa! Madeleine enjoyed having Grandpa there too...someone new to show off for! :)

Happy 60th Birthday Dad!

We celebrated my dad's 60th birthday this week! We saw him on Saturday for dinner & bowling and then met him near his work on his actual birthday. The kids enjoyed seeing their Grandpa on his birthday and of course, I loved seeing the best dad in the world on his special day! Happy Birthday Dad, we love you!!!
