Another Baby Playdate

Seaside Oregon

We've had a great week with Grandma Julie & Greg! The boys have golfed, we caught a Mariner's game, saw some fireworks, enjoyed a bonfire and finished our week with a trip to Seaside Oregon!

The weather didn't cooperate while Julie & Greg visited. It was literally in the 80's the day before they arrived and started to rain the night they got here...and continued to be cloudy the whole week. Of course the sun came out on our drive home from the coast! Below is a pic of Jeff & Madeleine. Madeleine is all bundled up for the beach!



We borrowed a backpack from our neighbor to try out while in Seaside. Madeleine LOVED it! We didn't hear on peep out of her the whole time she was in the new carrier.

Date Night!

With Grandma Julie and Greg in town, we were able to enjoy a night for just the two of us! We are so thankful that they watched Madeleine for the night!


I took this picture for Madeleine's baby book so she could see how much gas cost when she was a baby. A sad story for us but she'll probably laugh at how cheap it "was"...or hopefully she won't be driving a car powered by gasoline!

Independence Day

After the M's game, we celebrated the 4th with a bbq and ended the night around the campfire. Madeleine went to bed just at the fireworks in our neighborhood started. I can't believe she slept through all the noise. It was quite a sight in our neighborhood with all the fireworks! Our neighbors must have spent hundreds of dollars on fireworks and we were lucky enough to enjoy them from our backyard!

Grandma Julie visits!

Greg and Julie flew in on Tuesday night to visit us! We are so excited they are here. Greg and Jeff have been going golfing and Julie and I have playing with Madeleine. Madeleine is so happy to be spending more time with her grandma.

Today we headed to the M's game but didn't get to stay long, Madeleine was tired and wouldn't nap at the game. We still enjoyed the game!

Grandma Jollay brought Madeleine a fun 4th of July headband to wear today! Enjoy a few pics! (I swear, Madeleine is starting to know that you are suppose to smile for the camera!)
