One year ago today...

One year ago today I went into labor. I CANNOT believe it has been a year already. I am so glad I am sitting here today with my beautiful daughter...what a year it has been! I can't wait to celebrate Madeleine's 1st birthday tomorrow!

Flooding and No Power!

The city of Snoqualmie is flooding and we've got no power! Jeff turned on the generator so I could blog...just kidding! We turned on the generator so we could have hot water to give Madeleine a bath and warm up the house.

The city of Snoqualmie is under water and all streets are closed. Luckily, we are on the Ridge and up higher. The Snoqualmie river is flowing at 48,000 cfs. Check out this video: http://www.komonews.com/younews/37241889.html

Jeff, Madeleine & I headed to a New Years Eve party to ring in 2009! The party was full of friends, kids, yummy food & drinks!

Here are Jenni, Andrea, and I with our little girls! We all went to high school together and are still good friends! All of our little girls are close in age which is so much fun!

Bubbles!

Madeleine enjoyed her very 1st bubble bath today and she loved it! She was so excited about all the bubbles that she didn't care anything about her bath toys!

This Christmas was so much fun with Madeleine! It just made is even more special!

Madeleine enjoyed opening her stocking Christmas morning. She thought her new hair bows were pretty cool!

Madeleine enjoyed some yummy jello for the 1st time as her Christmas treat! She really liked it! YUM!

Christmas Eve!

We headed to my parents house for Christmas Eve! It snowed some more so Jeff had to get the car warmed up and the driveway ready so we could leave. It was a scary drive over Tiger Mountain to my parents house. Semi trucks that tried the pass without chains had no luck and were off the road in the ditch or stalled in the snow causing a back-up. At one point, I thought we would be stuck for hours but we got moving after a few minutes.

We had a lot of fun playing games, eating & drinking too much, watching movies and opening gifts! It was beautiful outside and cozy warm inside. It was a great day!
