Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

We took Madeleine to see Santa and to get her Christmas pics! She did really good! She hopped right up on his lap and smiled for the camera. She asked for bicycle...we'll see if Santa brings her one!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree....

We headed to Crown Tree farm this morning to get our Christmas tree, a beautiful, GIGANTIC, Grand Fir! My favorite! It makes the house smell so good! We are definately getting into the Holiday spirit. The tree barely fits inside the house though, it is definately our biggest tree yet!

Madeleine had a blast walking through the all the different trees and helping us pick one out.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We celebrated at my parents house this year! My mom made a yummy turkey dinner - thanks mom! I made my 1st ever pecan pie at Jeff's request. I got good reviews :-)

My grandparents came for dinner and my brother & Kathryn stopped by for awhile in the morning before heading to Sharyn's aunts house to celebrate. We took a walk in the left over snow and made a "Frosty the Snowman"! It was a very nice day with family. Happy Thanksgiving!

Snow Day #2

Another day of snow! We got over 6 inches of snow and the temp is in the low 20's. Jeff stayed home today but will probably go in tomorrow. We had a really fun day! Madeleine wanted to go sledding the minute she got up so we took her up to the park for an hour or so. Prego mama even hopped on the sled! We have yet to make a snowman. We got some yummy hot beverages at Starbucks and are making sugar cookies tonight. A VERY fun day!

Jeff took Madeleine up to the park when he got home to do some sledding! They had a blast! Madeleine went down some pretty steep hills with Jeff, so fun! She screamed and smiled the whole way down. We took a beautiful walk home through the trails back to our house...a real winter wonderland!

From 82 degrees to 28 degrees...and loving it!

Of course we wish we were still in the hot Florida sun but we are enjoying this snowy weather! Madeleine is having so much fun, especially sledding! She can't wait to go out again with daddy!
