The Fowler family ~ Jeff, Angela, Madeleine, and Braden! We love to update the blog so check back often to watch our family grow!
Madeleine had her 2 month check-up today and she is weighing in at 12lb, 12 oz and is in the 80th percentile for her length. I think she takes after Jeff's side of the family and is going to be a tall girl! She is finally getting over her cold and is feeling better. I even took her to her 1st girls luncheon with me over at my friend Mindy's house. We had a lot of fun until she decided to spit up all over my dry clean only sweater. I should know better by now that I shouldn't wear dry clean only garments with a new baby! I guess after wearing the same maternity clothes over and over for 9 months has made me desperate to want to look cute and trendy again. So if that means a few extra trips to the dry cleaner, so be it. At least I feel good, right?!Here is a picture of Madeleine with our luncheon host, Mindy!
Madeleine LOVES her daddy! But how can you not love someone you look EXACTLY like? I always tell her that she and Jeff are twins! Our neighbors gave us a gift card to Carter's so Madeleine and I went on a mini shopping spree...not that this child needs anymore clothes! I am getting a tad bit tired of all the pink so we opted for some outfits in purple. Here is Madeleine in her "daddy's little princess" outfit.
The backyard is done except for getting the fence up and planting some flowers! Check it out!
The overall yard...
The raised vegetable garden...Jeff's playground!
The firepit!

Pathway to the front...
We're moving right along with our backyard! It should be all done tomorrow! Today they put down the grass, planted some different trees & plants, and assembled the raised vegetable garden beds. Behind that there will be a fire pit and they are finishing up that tomorrow!
Madeleine's caught her 1st cold so we are laying low the rest of the week. Poor thing! She sounds so stuffed up :-(Jeff's dad & step mama left today so that is the end of our visitors. It has been a whirlwind of family in town and it feels weird not to have visitors to look forward to. We had fun with everyone here though and have already made tentative plans to visit Texas for Thanksgiving!
Spring is almost here and we are finally getting our backyard in! We are so excited for the sunny days ahead and to be able to enjoy them outside!! Jeff designed the backyard so it will be really fun to see how it all turns out. It should be done this week or early next so stay tuned.
Suzette & Ron brought Madeleine her 1st pair of cowboy boots straight from Texas! She'll be stomping her feet and doing the two step in no time. They even have roses on the side for "Madeleine Rose"!
